Vinyasa Yoga entails movement from one pose to the next in a systematic fashion whilst focusing on aligning your breath with each movement. It is considered a fairly challenging practice and is definitely a workout that will make you sweat and aid in cultivating balance, flexibility and endurance. The class will be tailor made to your body, level of practise and geared to provide you with all you wish to learn.
The poses typically include sun salutations, standing poses, balancing postures, seated and reclining poses and backbends. We emphasise correct alignment and moving in and out of the postures safely in connection with your breath. If you’re new to Yoga, we recommend starting off by taking a few classes in a slower format first to get a good feel for your body and different poses.
